Even Till This Day
The Last Laugh Will Be On You
EVEN TIL THIS DAY
Even til this day
After all the bygone years
I miss gazing upon your sweet and warm smile,
Your God given natural beauty and eloquent grace
Even til this day
I remain mystified by your pristiness
The memory of your soft touch
And your magical kisses remain an allurement
Yes, your dignified quiet-reserve still intriques me
After all these years
Even til this day
I love you and I miss you still
And I suppose I always will
I guess that's the price one must pay sometimes
For loving someone so much, as I do you
Even til this day
THE LAST LAUGH WILL BE ON YOU
Call me crazy, call me a fool
Call me any old name you want to
You and your friends may laugh at me
Just because I want hide my love for you
But there will come a time, when you will finally realize
That no one can ever love you as much as I do
No! Not even half as much or half true
Yes! You will eventually open your eyes to see
That you've lost a love oh so honest and true
Then, my love, the last laugh will be on you
